INCREASED WAGES
FOR DAIRY FACTORY WORKERS. REFUSED IN SOUTHERN HAWKE’S BAY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, This Day. A representative meeting of delegates of dairy companies operating in Southern Hawke’s Bay unanimously decided not to meet the demands for an increase, in wages recently made by employees in some factories, on the ground that to do so will be contrary to the economic stabilisation emergency regulations.
