LETTERS TO PRISONERS
» IN JAPANESE HANDS. POSTMASTER-GENERAL’S Advice.' (Ey Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Japanese Prisoner of War Bureau recommends that all letters for prisoners of war and civilians interned in Japan or in Japanese territory be typewritten, or in block letters, and that letters be kept to the shortest possible length, the Postmaster-General (Mr Webb) stated today. He urged writers to comply with the request.
