Of these 72 have been given to local men joining the Navy or Fleet Air Arm, and the remainder have been forwarded to Wellington and are to be sent overseas. In addition to these comforts the packing committee have sent 190 garments to the Seamen’s Mission. These have been donated by members and friends or purchased with money donated for the purpose.
