BOWLING CLUB COMPETITIONS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The following games have been played recently in connection with the Featherston Bowling Club; — Adamson, Button, H. McNamara (holders) defeated W. Higginson (challenger). Championship singles: H. Bloxam defeated H. Bloomfield. Championship doubles: D. Robinson and H. McNamara beat J. W. Card and H. Rolls; J. Higginson and R. Fuge beat L. Benton and H. Bloxam. Personal Items. Mrs R. Nicol, Hayward Street, is visiting Christchurch. Mr and Mrs J. G. McKenzie are spending a few days at Otaki. Miss Doreen Lowell, Hayward Street, is visiting Cambridge, where she is the guest of Mrs Day. Miss Eva McKenzie, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs K. McKenzie, Bell Street. Mrs Brooker, Wellington, who had spent a holiday in Featherston, has returned home. United Service. The next united service will be held in the Town Hall on Sunday evening, commencing at' 7 o’clock, when the preacher will be the Rev H. Bloomfield. Items will be rendered by the combined choir. COSY THEATRE “THE RELUCTANT DRAGON.” Walt Disney’s brilliant full-length colour classic, “The Reluctant Dragon,” will be shown at the Cosy Theatre tonight. Patrons will not only see how Disney’s famous pictures are made, but also the flesh and blood creators associated with “Donald Duck,” “Goofy” and “The Seven Dwarfs.”
