REGENT THEATRE
“INVISIBLE AGENT.” The Regent Theatre will present tonight and tomorrow night a perfectly balanced double-feature programme. In “The Invisible Agent,” a number of fantastically intriguing scenes are presented, the most noteworthy being when Hall, the invisible agent, slips into a bath, making a body impression in the water. The story has a potent, timely appeal and deals with an invisible man who invades the inner chambers of the enemy high command; learning their secrets and spreading fear and dismay where these elements do the most good. Jon Hall and Ilona Massey are in the leading roles. The associate feature, “Double Date,” is a gay romantic comedy, and relates to the laugh-provoking antics of a determined young school girl and a swaggering schoolboy to guide their errant adult relatives away from the pitfalls of love. Full to the final scene with amusing dialogue, the film has been designed strictly for gay entertainment.
