LEND-LEASE AID

CHINA ASKING FOR MORE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, January 10. The Chinese are dissatisfied with the quantity of lend-lease aid arriving, but deny reports of a crisis in the relations between China and the United States, says the Chungking correspondent of the United Press of America. Responsible officials said it was realised there were shipping difficulties, but pointed out that it was also difficult for Britain and America to send supplies to Russia. More than a third of Russian-bound convoys through the White Sea had been sunk.

Officials asked why should Britain and America hesitate to make similar sacrifices for China.
