GRATITUDE TO BRITISH WORKERS FOR PRODUCING WEAPONS AND MUNITIONS. GENERAL ALEXANDER’S MESSAGE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.55 a.m.) RUGBY, January 5. Cabling to the Minister of Supply, General -Alexander conveys the thanks of the Middle East Forces to the factory workers of Britain for their untiring efforts in producing the weapons and munitions which 'enabled the Eighth Army to achieve the El Alameinwictory and subsequent successes. The men of the Eighth Army,” General Alexander adds, “hope to show their gratitude by finishing the .job quickly.”
