MILLIONS OF DOLLARS
SENT FROM UNITED STATES TO EUROPE. FINANCING UNDERGROUND MOVEMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, December 28. The “New York Post” says millions of dollars are being sent to occupied Europe by the A.F.L. and C. 1.0. unions to help underground labour leaders of the Allied sabotage network prepare for a United Nations’ invasion. Under the direction of Mr Sidney Hillman, of the C. 1.0., and Mr Mathew Woll, of the A.F.L., the unions are raising approximately 4,000,000 dollars to promote industrial sabotage behind the Germans lines. Immediately substantial sums are collected, the money is dispatched by secret agents to Europe. Then couriers distribute it to contacts in French mines, German factories, Czech munition works and planes and railroads throughout the Continent. A considerable part of the money supports the 1500 underground secret-ly-printed newspapers such as “Le Populaire,”
