PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age” Special.) Miss Joyce Hatton arrived home yesterday from Wharepapa South for the term holiday Mrs D. Edwards is visiting her mother, Mrs Tullock. Miss Joan McKenzie, Wellington, is home for the holidays. Mr and Mrs Herbert Clark, Waikanae, are the guests of Mr and Mrs Fred. Clark for the Christmas holidays. Earthquake. An earthquake was felt in Featherston at 8.15 o'clock last night. COSY THEATRE « “SO ENDS OUR NIGHT.” Tonight’s programme will be headed by that brilliant, dramatic offering, “So Ends Our Night,” in which the leading roles are taken by Frederic March, Margaret Sullavan and Frances Dee. It is one of the best pictures ever brought to the screen. The man who wrote “All Quiet on the Western Front,” creates this great and glowing drama of undaunted hearts, a drama of high adventure, gay and gallant laughter and triumphant love.
