JUGGED RAT
BECOMING FASHIONABLE DISH IN PARIS. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, December 22. Jugged rat is becoming a fashionable dish in Paris, says the Vichy correspondent of the Swiss newspaper “Neuezurcher Zeitung.” The Paris authorities began an “eat more rat” campaign in November, after a member of the Paris Academy of Medicine had declared that rats were even better to eat than pork or rabbit.
