Martin Borman, chief of staff of the Nazi Party Chancellery, has sent a circular to all party leaders, in which he says: “We do not need Christianity any longer, and we National Socialists must refuse to promote or support either of the existing or any future Christian faiths . . . The people must increasingly be separated fro'm the Church.”
