Catholic Services Club.

The Catholic Services Club, which has been functioning for the entertainment of servicemen since January last, has closed for the Christmas and New Year holiday season as front last night until January 10. This will enable the hostesses and their helpers, including the girls in attendance at the club, to have a well-earned rest. Christmas Tree Gathering. The Foresters’ Lodge held a Christmas tree party in the Masonic Hall, Master ton, on Saturday afternoon, and was a great success, the children enjoying themselves immensely. Fatner Christmas was kept very busy handing gifts from a well-laden tree to the children. The success of the gathering was due to the work of the Lodge Christmas Tree Committee. A ladies’ committee was in charge of the refreshments.
