FREEDOM FOR ALL

OBLIGATIONS AFTER THE WAR. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11 a.m.) NEW YORK. December 20. “Freedom for all must be guaranteed after the war,” declared Mr Nash, New Zealand Minister in Washington, addressing a victory rally at the Metropolitan Opera House. “It can be done, and members of the Commonwealth will co-operate,” he said. “The British Commonwealth has shown that all can have freedom within collectively guaranteed security. This was proved in 1940, when England was standing alone, and New Zealanders and Australians helped to defend her shores.”
