JAPANESE AIRFIELD
RAIDED FOR NINTH DAY IN SUCCESSION. AMERICAN ATTACKS ON MUNDA. LONDON, December 20. American bombers have again raided Munda, in New Guinea, where the Japanese are trying to build a new aerodrome. The airfield has been raided for nine days in succession. Several buildings were set on fire and destroyed. Three Zero fighters were shot down. All the American planes returned.
