REGENT THEATRE
DOUBLE FEATURE PROGRAMME. The final screening will take place tonight of the double feature programme, “Covzboy Serenade,” starring the screen No. 1 Cowboy, Gene Autry, and also a new kind of detective story, “Dangerous Lady.” “FOOTSTEPS IN THE DARK.” Errol Flynn is back to bring more thrills and adventure to movie fans, but this time he swaps his bow and arrow for top hat and tails. He is starred in the role of a writer of mystery stories and amateur sleuth combined m the Warner Bros.’ comedy-mystery film, “Footsteps in the Dark,” which will open on Saturday at the Regent Theatre. The supporting cast includes such Hollywood luminaries as Ralph Bellamy, Lee Patrick, Alan Hale, Allen Jenkins, Grant Mitchell and Roscoe Karns. Lloyd Bacon directed the film. “Footsteps in the Dark” was written for the screen by Lester Cole and John Wexley from a play by Lazio Fodor, Bernard Merivale and Jeffrey Dell. There will be a matinee a* 2.15 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at which a double feature programme will be shown, headed by “Cowboy Serenade.
