KAIPARORO
SCHOOL CONCERT PRESENTATION TO TEACHER. (“Times-Age” Special.) The school concert, so, eagerly looked forward to by the children, took place in the Kaiparoro Hall last Tuesday evening, when there was a large attendance of parents and friends. Various items were given by .the children, including songs, games and a play. Rex Falkner and Shirley Braddick each sang a solo. Much credit is due to the teacher, Miss Laird, who has only been with the children a short while Mrs G. Hansen played the accompaniments on the piano for the children. A presentation was made to Miss Laird by the children, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers was presented to Mrs Hansen .Each recipient suitably replied. An enjoyable dance followed, the music being supplied by K. Braddick (piano-accordion) and N. Dick (drums). Messrs K. Isakson and R. Dick were the M’s.C. Tennis' Match. A team of local tennis enthusiasts journeyed to Eketahuna to play a team from the Eketahuna Tennis Club. Eketahuna won by 13 games to 11
