CHRISTMAS CHEER

WOMEN’S WELFARE LEAGUE. VISIT TO BUCHANAN HOME. Members of the Women’s National Welfare League paid their Christmas visit to the Buchanan Home, Greytown, yesterday afternoon, when an enjoyable time was spent. Mis H. M. Morton acted as accompanists and Mrs Speight was the soloist. Mr Harry Hall rendered a number cf comic songs. Christmas carols were sun°- by those present. Afternoon tea was served to the inmates and flowers and Christmas cards handed to each inmate The matron and staff entertained the visitors at afternoon tea. The matron was presented with a posy. Those who' lent cars for the trip to Grey town were Mesdamcs T. W. Wardell, At W. McKenzie, S. J. Munn, and Miss F. Maunsell.
