HOLIDAY CLOSING
SQME SHOPS OPENING ON DECEMBER 28. It appears that at least five retail shops in Masterton are' to open on Monday December 28, contrary to the decision of the Masterton Retailers’ Association. The shops concerned are stated to be those controlled from Wellington. The Masterton Retailers’ Association decided to observe Monday as a bolide” and although the shops indicated are to open, the association has agreed to adhere to its previous decision. It therefore invites Masterton retailers to observe the day as a holiday,
