NEW FRENCH ARMY
FORMATION UNDER GERMAN CONTROL. LAVAL’S LATEST INFAMY. (By Telegraph—j Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, December 15. A message from Madrid says it is reported from the French frontier that Laval has agreed to allow German experts to form a new French army and also to annoint German advisers to all French Ministries. Air Marshal d’Atier de la Vigerie, who escaped from France three weeks ago, has been appointed adjutant to General do Gaulle, it is announced in London. The Vichv radio announced that M. Boisson, High Commissioner for French West Africa, and General Bartan, who was the Commander-In-Chief of the French forces in North Africa, have been deprived of French citizenshin. The Morocco radio reports that six German spies have been executed at Algiers'. The Foreign Under-Secretary, Mr R. K. Law, told the House of Commons that the problem of supplying North Africa with essential imports for the prosecution of the war was being urgently examined, and American'and British economic experts had been attached to General Eisenhower's staff to carry out long-term measures under his direction.
