BARNARDO’S BOXES HOLDERS ENTERTAINED. (“Times-Age” Special.) The holders of Dr Barnardo’s Home boxes were entertained at a party by Mrs G. S. Sharp at her residence. After ah enjoyable time spent in the swimming pool the Children were given afternoon tea and their boxes were then opened, the amount being about £5. Mrs Sharp gave a prize to Trevor Clark for having collected the largest sum. With other efforts made the total amount raised would be approximately £ll. The children were congratulated on their effort. Personal Items. Miss Norma Shepherd is the guest of Mrs D. C. Collins, Paekakariki Beach. Miss Durward, who is on the relieving staff of the Primary School, has received word that she has passed in advanced philosophy for her final B.A. The death occurred last evening after a long illnfess of Mrs Annie Martha Mutter, wife Of Mr J. Mutter, in her 77th year. COSY THEATRE "WAGONS ROLL AT NIGHT.” Tonight the outstanding drama, “Wagons Roll at Night,” will be shown, the leading roles being portrayed by Humphrey Bogart, Joan Leslie and. Eddie Albert.
