Her embroidered tulle veil was held in place with a top-knot of flowers. She carried a sheaf of roses, lily of the valley and ranunculus. In attendance on the bride were Mrs J. Manley (matron-of-honour) and Miss Patricia Bredin, both attired alike in white sprigged Swiss organdie with full skirts and corselette waistlines, bishop sleeves and Peter Pan collars. Tressider was best man, and Sgt. C. Wesley groomsman. During the signing of the register, 2nd Lt. Tressider sang. “I'll Walk Beside You.” On leaving the church the bride was presented with a horseshoe by her, nephew, Warren Pauling. As the bridal party left the church, a guard of honour was formed by fellowsergeants. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Masonic Hall, where the guests were received by Mrs Pauling, who was attired in a black georgette frock and toque with fur and shoulder spray. She was assisted by Mrs McNaught, who wore a navy and white ensemble and fur and posy.
