British troops on Friday ambushed a party of Germans moving towards their positions. Concealing themselves by Ihe roadside, our troops waited until the Germans passed and then attacked them in the rear, killing some and taking fifty prisoners. After a spell of inactivity on the northern sector, German infantry launched a small attack, but it was quickly driven back and the enemy lost 50 killed. The British losses were only a handful. /Reports indicate that the enemy is still bringing up troops and stores.
