Subsequently she will be a guest at the White House. The Now York “Times” 'Washington correspondent says that since Madame Chiang Kai-shek is the Generalissimo; s most important diplomatic and military aid, it is expected _ that her conversations with _ President Roosevelt and others will be of the highest importance. Another Washington correspondent says the visit has a significance akin, to Mr Churchill's and M. Molotov’s visits, because she is probably, authorised to speak for the Generalissimo.
