POTATO GROWING
LARGE AREA PLANTED BY COLLEGE BOYS ' NEAR MASTERTON WEST SCHOOLPRODUCTION COUNCIL SCHEME. Under the auspices of the Wairarapa Primary Production Council, an area of nearly 4 acres has been planted in potatoes near the West School, Masterton. Mr Henry Evans was in charge of the ploughing, etc., and six pupils of the Wairarapa College did the planting.
