Medical Advertisements Bill What are known as patent medicines are often more effective than medicine prescribed by a doctor, otherwise those patent medicines that have proved beneficial would not have the large sale which they do. Next year regulations provide that advertising of these patent medicines is to be severely restricted, thereby depriving thousands of sufferers from relief of their pains and illnesses through not being made aware of the benefits which certain remedies give. Many thousands have received wonderful benefit from the use of R.U.R., and they can do a service to fellow-sufferers by writing to the R.U.R. Company of the benefits received, so that the Government may be confronted with proof of its health-giving and pain-relieving properties. A large packet of R.U.R. will be sent free to the writer of every genuine testimonial sent in. Will you who have benefited please write to R.U.R. (N.Z.), Limited, 141 Cashel Street, or P.O. Box 746, Christchurch. These testimonials vzill not be used for advertising purposes without first obtaining the permission of the giver.
