LEVIN MEETING TOMORROW’S PROSPECTS. N.Z. CUP CANDIDATES ENGAGED. At the Levin Racing Club’s meeting at Ctaki on Saturday interest will centre on the Levin Handicap of one mile and a quarter in which New Zealand Cup candidates in Gladynev, Don Quex, Kinsman and Blue Border are engaged. Gladynev, which was owned and trained by Mr Ben Burgess, has been sold to Messrs J. and L. McMillan, so he will be bracketed with Don Quex. Betting at the meeting will be on the single pool, 75-25 per cent system and on form the following candidates may find support:— Maiden Race: —First Division: Patu Ra, Eright Fox. Second Division: Gay Falcon, Donegal Bay. Manakau Hack Hurdles: Vitement, Gay Fox, Cuisinier. Weraroa Hack:—First Division: Banco, Light Fair. Second Division: Tavern Light. Kahuranaki. Levin Handicap: Gladynev-Don Quex bracket, Broadcaster, Hasten. Mako Mako Hack: Leisurely, Theolateral, Flying Ace. Champion Hack: Kinsman, Rink, Centennial. McDonald Memorial: Dominate. Celebrity, Lotto. Hokio Hack:—First Division: Sterling Lad, The Whipper. Second Division: Jolly Ruler, Valsheeii.
