RAILWAY TRAVEL
RESTRICTIONS TO CONTINUE IN NORTH ISLAND. EASIER CONDITIONS IN SOUTH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Railway travel in the South Island during the Christmas holidays will not be subject to any restrictions such as have been enforced in the North Island. This information has been received by the District Traffic Manager (Mr G. H. McLean). He said there would be certain restrictions on trains and the size of trains. The present restrictions in the North Island would continue.
