Power Board Revenue.

From April till October, inclusive, the Wairarapa Electric Power Board’s revenue showed an increase of £5,535 on last year and of £4,115 on the estimate. Services Staff Difficulties.

At today’s meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board, the SecretaryManager, Mr G. Brown, reported that with the large number of employees in the armed forces the staff position was becoming increasingly difficult. It would not be possible to continue the prompt and efficient service of the past until the war had ended. Mr Brown said that the last of the two senior apprentices was due to go into camp immediately, and of the three junior apprentices left in Masterton two were due for service.
