FEATHERSTON.
COSY—Tonight. “You can’t get away with murder, even in a film,” says Thomas Mitchell, who stars in “Invitation to a Murder.” Mitchell’s observation was prompted by the fact that he was about to commit the screen’s first “socially useful” murder. With Geraldine Fitzgerald and Jeffrey Lynn. (Recommended by the Censor for Adults.)
GREYTOWN.
TOWN HALL.—Tomorrow Night: Ann Sothern in “Cash and Carry,” with George Murphy, Robert Stirling. This is the best film yet of the ‘Maisie” series. It’s a treat you can’t afford to miss. “Cash and Carry” is a knock-out. (Recommended by the Censor for Adults.) Second big feature, “Cadets on Parade.” (Approved for Universal Exhibition.)
