(IRAKI TRACK WORK LOCAL HORSES IN FORM. Interesting work was performed by the teams of T. R. George and A. Jenkins at the G’pakl racetrack this morning. Piastre and L-.roadcaster, accompanied by Light Fair, ran the mile in 1.47. Piastre with a light boy up did the best but all loafed along. Light Fair with a good weight up ran usefully. The Champ and Dominate ran 7 furlongs together in 1.34. The Champ did best. Oleon (owned bv J. Donald) and Fox Catchei ian' a half-mile in 50secs. Oleon comes from a good family and should be about right by Christmas, as the four-year-old has been .‘■pclled. Broadcaster is looking well and it it is going to win a race this season it is not far from. now. He will be ridden by K. Smith at Levin, on Saturday. Mr George said this morning that if Dominate shows signs of staying ability at Levin he will go in the Derby at the Cup meeting, but if not he will start in tne Stewards. K. Smith will ride Fox Catchei and Dominate at Levin. Hasten, Mr J. Mulvaney's horse, is looking fit. He ran well over the distance this morning. He should make a gieat hurdle horse. Gay Fox also ran well.
