STATE THEATRE
‘■SON OF MONTE CRISTO.” “Son of Monte Cristo” will be finally shown tonight. “MEXICAN SPITFIRE.” The Mexican Spitfire series of pictures has in the past provided excellent entertainment for patrons. The theme in the stories is always of especial interest, and what plot there is provides a' splendid opportunity for the chief art-, ists to display their undoubted talents. I The acting is always of a very high standard, thus contributing very substantially to the enpoyment of those who witness the pictures. These remarks apply particularly to the latest picture of the series, “Mexican Spitfire Sees a Ghost,” which will be presented at the State Theatre tomorrow night, and it is certainly an offering which lovers of good pictures should not miss. There is a most interesting associate feature, •■Scattergood Rides High,” which has much to recommend it. There are excellent supports, including many topical subjects.
