MEMBERS OF CIVIL DEFENCE SERVICES FROM ALL PARTS OF BRITAIN. SERVICE AT ST PAUL’S. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.0 a.m.) RUGBY, November 15. Wearing the uniform of an admiral, the King took the salute from the steps of St Paul's this afternoon, when more than 1,500 officers and men of the Civil Defence Services, from all parts of the country, marched past. The march was a prelude to the Civil Defence Day service at the cathedral. The King and Queen were cheered by thousands lining the route.
