VAST BORROWING
SERIES OF AMERICAN VICTORY LOANS. 40,000,000,000 DOLLARS WANTED BY JUNE. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, November 13. The Secretary of the Treasury, Mr Henry Morgenthau, has announced that the Government is launching the largest borrowing programme in history—a series- of Victory Loans of 4 000,000,000 ■ dollars each. It is proposed to raise 40,000,000,000 dollars by June.
