CAMOUFLAGE NETS
WORK TO BE RESUMED. The making of camouflage nets, which has been practically suspended during the past few weeks owing to no suitable premises being available, is to be resumed in the Drill Hall,’Lincoln Road, as from Monday. This work is still being carried on under the control of the Girl Guides’ Association, and all past helpers will receive a warm welcome at the new depot in the Drill Hall. Owing to the hall being required for other purposes in the mornings the work will be carried on during the afternoons and ®venings The management wish to express their thanks to the C. E. Daniell trustees for having made shop premises available, without charge, for so long and for their assistance in having the new depot put into working 01 The unit has already completed more than thirty thousand square feet of netting, but this is only a very small fraction of what is required, and all willing workers are asked to make every effort to assist in this very necessary work.
