INDIAN ARMY OFFICER HERO OF MALAYAN FIGHTING—By his outstanding gallantry and devotion to duty, Lieut.-Colonel A. E. Cumming. V.C., M.C., who was in command of the 12th Frontier Force Regiment fighting in Malaya, won the Third Indian Army V.C. of this war.
