GREYHOUND RACING

WEEKEND MEETING. The third meeting of the season will be held at Rugby Park at the weekend by the local Greyhound Racing Club, the programme consisting of flat and hurdle events. The Carl Larsen Cup (open flat race) and C. E. Grey Rose Bowl (open hurdles) will again be competed for . A points prize has been allotted to the dog securing the most points during the season. In connection with the two meetings held this year, Royal Step has a narrow lead over Spitfire Joe for the prize, while several greyhounds have a chance. Nominations will close tomorrow night at 6 o'clock. At 7£o o’clock the executive will meet to make final arrangements. The draw will take place at 3.30 p.m.
