RATIONED COMMODITIES 1 V. TEA, SUGAR AND PETROL. ANNOUNCED BY MINISTER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Minister for Supply, Mr D. G. Sullivan, announced that tea and sugar rations for November would be the same as for October, namely 40 ounces of sugar and half a pound of tea a person. The Minister added that, as a result of the cutting out of the tea ration for children under ten years of age, helhoped to be able to announce an increased ration of tea for December. Mr Sullivan said that the War Cabinet had decided that the petrol ration for private motorists would be the same for November as for recent months. Coupon No. 20 would be available, at half its face value, for November.
