ANNUAL SPORTS MEETING GATHERING AT CARTERTON YESTERDAY. LIST OF PRIZE-WINNERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) On Carrington Park, Carterton, yesterday, the annual sports meeting of the secondary pupils of the Carterton District High School was held. A boisterous wind prevailed. Championships: In the boys’ section, one field event still has to be decided, leaving an interesting position in the senior championship, with R. Sayer at present leading D. Martin by 29 points to 27. In the juniors J. Chapman has a lead by a very substantial margin of points. The girls still have to complete their jumping events, but at present B. Wellington and M. Orr are well ahead in the senior and junior championships respectively.
