IN QUEST FOR MISSING AMERICAN AIRMEN. LOST DURING PACIFIC. SURVEY. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) WASHINGTON, October 25. The War Department has announced the names of seven army airmen missing with Captain Rickenbacker. An intensive search since Wednesday has failed to reveal any trace. There is a slight hope that the missing men may be afloat on life-rafts. The authorities have not abandoned hope, though they admit that the prospects of the search are gloomy. There is a possibility that the plane landed on one of the countless atolls and was unable to establish radio contact.
