WELLINGTON MEETING CHIEF EVENT TO GAYEST SON. A WIN FOR KINDERGARTEN (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Records were broken at Trenlham yesterday on the second and concluding day of the Wellington Racing Club's spring meeting. The totalisator recorded .£90,237 on the first day and .£121,495 on the second day, a total of £211,732 for the meeting, compared with £253,990 which passed through the totalisator at last year's three day meeting. The pool of £19,559 on Ihe Pearce Handicap was the largest ever recorded, and later in the day, in the last race, the Belmont Handicap, it was eclipsed by a total of £19,768. The day was fine, but as the result of rain in the morning the racing track was again very heavy, though it improved. Results:— Aimu Hurdle Handicap, one mile and a half: 8/7. Siglow. 9.0 (C.
