AFFRAY IN DUBLIN
DETECTIVE SHOT AND KILLED. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, October 25. Shots were fired in Dublin and one detective was killed when two men ran from a house surrounded by detectives. One man was detained and the other escaped. The police are believed to have been prosecuting inquiries in connection with the recent murder of Detective-Sergeant Denis O’Brien.
