SENIOR INSPECTOR

WELCOMED BY WAIRARAPA TEACHERS. Wairarapa members of the New Zealand Educational Institute met last night at the Midland Hotel, Masterton, to welcome Mr G. H, Stubbs, who has been appointed recently to the position of senior inspector in the Wellington' district.

A large number of school committeemen attended as guests of the Masterton Branch of the N.Z.E.I. In welcoming the guests, the president, Mr J. P. Farrell, expressed the gratification of the Institute that so many committeemen had found time to be present. Their valuable contribution to the keen discussion which followed Mr Stubbs’s stimulating address on modern tenden-cies-in the primary schools, was much appreciated by the teachers present.
