MASTERTON POST OFFICE
LABOUR DAY ARRANGEMENTS. On Monday next (Labour Day) the Masterton post office will be closed in all branches. No mails will be despatched and the postmen’s deliveries will be suspended. The Homewood, Stronvar, Castlepoint and Te Wharau rural mail and private bag services will be performed as usual. (Close at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October
24. The telegraph office will be open from 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and the telephone exchange will be open continuously.
