Ministerial replies to members’ questions were circulated and discussed in the House of Representatives yesterday afternoon. Local Bills remaining on the Order Paper —the Makerua Drainage Board Empowering Bill, Petone and Lower Hutt Gas-lighting Empowering and Amendment Bill, and the Wanganui City Council Vesting and Empowering Amendment Bill—were put through all stages and passed without amendment.
