APPOINTMENTS IN BRITAIN

DIRECTION OF EXPANDING

MOVEMENT.

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. October 19

Lord Kindorsley. president of the National Savings Committee, and Lord Mollistone. chairman, have represented to the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Sir Kingsley Wood) that the continuous increase of the National Savings movement necessitates further appointments for the direction of the war savings campaign. Lord Mottistonc has accepted the office of vice-president and Colonel O. Stanley that of chairman. Lord Kindorsley will continue to act as president and Sir I. Chambers and Sir 11. Macintosh will continue to give their whole time Io the executive direction of the campaign.
