MORE DAY ATTACKS

MADE BY ROYAL AIR FORCE

ON IMPORTANT OBJECTIVES IN GERMANY. AND ON DUTCH RAILWAYS. LONDON, October 20. The Air Ministry reports that Mosquito bombers of Hie ILA.F. today attacked objectives near Hanover, Wilhelmshaven and Bremen. The planes attacked singly and from a low level at Bremen and bombs were seen to burst in the centre of the city. One plane failed to get back.

During the past week, fighter-bomb-ers have made a series of sweeps over Holland, flying almost as far as the German border. Their task, a vital one, is the destruction of enemy communications and they arf. doing as little harm as possible to the Dutch people. Nineteen railway engines, seven barges and a great many trucks were destroyed during the week._ A most satisfying incident was a direct hit on a railway engine, which emitted a mass of white steam and blew up. A long line of trucks was derailed.
