FOR RECONQUEST OF BURMA.
CONFERENCES IN NEW DELHI.
NEW YORK, October 19.
The Chungking correspondent of the United Press of America says that General Lo Chi-Ying, commander of the Chinese expeditionary forces in India, is participating in important conferences in New Delhi with Generals Stilwell, Auchinleck and Wavell. The conferences are believed to be connected with Alied plans for the recapture of Burma, to which the Japanese are reported to have transferred an undetermined number of troops from Malaya.
