Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m. today:— Shade temperature: Maximum .72.8, minimum 46.2, terrestrial 36.2. Rain, 8 points. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 12 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. PHASES OF THE MOON. OCTOBER. Full moon, October 24. Draw blinds at 7.15 p.m. today; raise them at 4.52 a.m. tomorrow.
