SHOWING REVIVAL OF “DEAD”

ANIMALS.

EXPERIMENTS IN RUSSIA. (Received This Day. 10.55 a.m.) LONDON, October 19. A remarkable film, showing the revival of dead organisms, was exhibited at a conference organised by the Association of Scientific Workers. Produced by the staff of a medical research institute at Voronezh (Russia), the film shows blood drained from dogs, then pumoed back after they had been dead from 10 to 15 minutes. As soon as the dogs' hearts and lungs resumed functioning the animals were restored to normal health. The film shows them running round several years later, and they even had offspring after the experiments.
