BRITISH LINER
SUNK OFF WEST AFRICAN COAST. REPORTED LOSS OF FIVE LIVES. (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) BUENOS AIRES, October 16. One passenger, three of the crew and one stewardess were lost when the 14,943-ton British liner Andalucia Star was torpedoed and sunk off Freetown, Sierra Leone, according to a Blue Star Line announcement.
